Brainwashed Science Teachers
Published: December 20, 2009

In The American Heritage Student’s Dictionary, the word “brainwash” means to indoctrinate (someone) until he is willing to give up his own basic convictions and passively accept an opposing set of beliefs.”1 To indoctrinate means to teach to accept a doctrine uncritically. A doctrine is a principle or set of principles held and put forward by any kind of group. Generally speaking, today’s science teachers are brainwashed science teachers. They have been indoctrinated to accept and teach the doctrines of the Big Bang Theory, Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity and Quanta Theory, in an uncritical manner.

The doctrines of the Big Bang Theory are stated as follows:

  1. The universe was created billions of years ago by a tremendous explosion out of nothing.
  2. Since the Big Bang explosion, the universe has been steadily expanding.
  3. The universe might stop expanding and begin contracting.

The doctrines of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity are stated as follows:

  1. There is no observable absolute motion, only relative motion.
  2. The velocity of light is constant and not dependent on the motion of the source.
  3. No energy can be transmitted at a velocity greater than that of light.
  4. The mass of a body in motion is a function of the energy content and varies with the velocity.
  5. Matter and energy are equivalent.
  6. Time is relative.
  7. Space and time are interdependent and form a four-dimensional continuum.
  8. The presence of matter results in a “warping” of the space-time continuum, so that a body in motion passing nearby will describe a curve, this being the effect known as gravitation, as evidenced by the deflection of light rays passing through a gravitational field.

The doctrines of the Quanta Theory are stated as followers:

  1. Energy is emitted and absorbed in quanta, rather than in a continuous manner.
  2. Energy fills the vacuum of space.
  3. Vacuum is the lowest possible level of energy.
  4. Fluctations of energy can cause particles to appear.
  5. A field is the space in which a force, such as gravity, magnetism, or electricity, acts.
  6. Fields are all there in the universe.
  7. Fields are the simplest irreducible fundamental entities of physics.
  8. Matter is not composed of solid atoms.
  9. Atoms can be divided into many constituents.
  10. In the sub-atomic world, particles do not obey fixed rules.
  11. Events at the sub-atomic level cannot be predicted.
  12. Gravity does not operate inside the atom.
  13. There are no absolutes of space and time.
  14. The position and momentum of subatomic particles cannot be measured at the same time.

It is very important to understand that the doctrines of the Big Bang Theory, Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, and those of Quanta Theory are ultimately based on belief in the existence of energy, as something that is a constituent of the universe, along with matter, space, and time. Also, as the American theoretical physicist and Nobel Prize winner Richard P. Feynman (1918 – 88) explained, “It is important to realize that in physics today, we have no knowledge of what energy is.”2 I argue that energy, as defined in modern physics, is a fictitious constituent of the universe and thus has no place in science. No true scientist can believe in the existence of energy. Let’s discuss why not.

Every scientist knows that true science is systematic knowledge gained by the use of reason based on observation. Every scientist also knows that our human senses provide us with evidence of the existence of matter. In science, matter is defined as anything that takes up, or occupies, space and has mass. Mass is defined as the amount of matter in an object. Every scientist knows that all matter is made up of atoms, and that atoms give mass to matter. For this reason, scientists also define mass as a measure of the number of atoms in an object.

Let me say right now, right here, today’s scientists don’t know what atoms are. I will prove this to you by means of observation, true reason, and sound logic. We observe that all matter is finite and can be divided into parts. Reason and logic tell us that a finite object is not infinitely physically divisible and, thus, if we repeatedly cut up a finite object, the end result will be “atoms” or uncuttable particles of matter. Atoms are the smallest particles of matter that can exist; the ultimate and smallest division of matter. They are the ultimate three dimensional building blocks of all matter. By the way, our English word “atom” comes from the Greek atomos, meaning “uncuttable.” If the description of a particle does not fit this definition of an atom, it cannot be an atom. So, let it be understood that the atom of modern science, which has been split into sub-atomic particles, is really misnamed. It was misnamed by energy theorists of the nineteenth century to provide a sham source for their fictitious constituent energy of the universe, which they defined as “the ability to do work.” For over two thousand years, the Atomists had taught that energy is the activity of atoms directed toward work, and that the ability of atoms to do work was due to their inherent property of power (Greek dynamis). It was taught that atoms possess power from their sheer existence. Today’s brainwashed scientists who have been trained only in the doctrines of the energy theories called the Big Bang Theory, Einstein’s Theory, and Quanta Theory and are acquainted only with the doctrines of these theories, are unconsciously teaching pseudo-science, not genuine science based on Atomism.

I urge all science teachers and citizen scientists to read my book The End of Pseudo – Science (2007) and also my new book Reeducating Miseducated Teachers of Physics and Chemistry and Their Students (coming in 2011). Together, these two books reveal the flaws of all the doctrines that I stated above regarding the energy theories. They give a thorough presentation of the fundamental principles of Atomism. I believe that they will, if read by the scientific community, bring about a much needed revolution in the way scientific research is done and what is taught in schools, colleges, and universities.

My only worry is that many scientists and science teachers have been so brainwashed by energy theorists, and their science careers so controlled by them, that they will be afraid to open their minds to a new challenging paradigm and theory that refutes virtually all of the scientific theories they have spent many years learning and teaching. However, it is my sincere hope that if truly sincere scientifically minded people read my books as well as some of them named as resources in these essays, they will become energized by the possibilities inherent in the new paradigm, and they will want to seek and disseminate true understandings about our universe.
